With clubface control established in week one, week two shifts focus to swing path and how it works together with face angle to produce predictable ball flights. Using the Blue Brick training aid and alignment sticks, you’ll practice inside-out and outside-in swing paths to produce controlled draws and fades with minimal curvature. Clay introduces the D-plane theory — “face sends it, path bends it” — explaining how the face dictates start direction while the path determines curve. Daily drills reinforce the muscle memory needed to align path and face consistently, moving you closer to the neutral, straight ball flight that weeks three and four will refine.
