In this final driving test, participants will revisit a 40-yard wide gap test from weeks one and three to assess improvement. The test involves ensuring solid drives that land or roll into the gap without curving into it. Consistency in measurement is key. While initial improvements may be significant, continued practice will yield incremental gains over time. Regular repetition of these drills is encouraged for sustained improvement, aiming to make participants noticeably better drivers over the course of a year or two.
What's Covered: Repeat the 40-yard gap driving test to measure final improvement and establish a framework for continued practice beyond the course.

Alright, here we are for the final post-course test to see if your driving has really improved. Now, you remember in week one and week three we did a test where we picked a 40 yard wide gap. It doesn't have to be perfect. Just pick about 40 yards wide. Use the same tree or flags that you used before in week one and week three, and there's three criteria that it has to hit.
Number one, it has to end up in that gap, whether it has to roll and roll out in that gap or land in that gap. I'll let you be the judge of how you measured it, but you wanna be consistent in how you're measuring it. Number two, it couldn't curve into the gap. So I can't hit a big hook that starts out outside the 40 yards and then curves into it and count that I want nice solid straight shots.
And then number three, it had to be fairly solid. No popups, no worm burners, no shanks, anything like that. It has to be a pretty solid shot to count. So you should see an improvement as you track these drills. The good thing about this is you can keep on doing this. There's no reason to stop here in this course.
So maybe you had a pretty big improvement. You'll notice as you keep on doing these drills, you're gonna see that number go up and up. All the data that I have, all the research that I've done tracking this says the more that you do these drills, especially as we hone them in, into, into week four, the more you repeat this, you will keep on getting better.
I will be honest. You're gonna have a lot of diminishing returns. You're gonna see the best results, the fastest improvement early on as that starts to taper off. You will still improve. You'll start getting 1% better, 2% better every couple weeks. The longer you repeat this, the better you will be at driving the golf ball.
So even though we just did three tests here, if you really wanna become the best driver that you can become, repeat this on a consistent basis and see your scores keep on going up and up in the future. You turn around in a year or two years and you're like, wow, I'm a totally different player. Than I was a couple years ago.
So hopefully you enjoyed this course. I'm really excited to see what your test is. Excited for you to get the best score you've gotten so far. Best of luck. Let's go and get started.
